- Driving the (optional) Cabot Trail is an extra 3.5 hours minimum without stops, but is quite worthwhile. To drive the Cabot Trail and add some Bay of Fundy sightseeing in New Brunswick (highest tides in the world), adds an extra half day to the trip (arriving Wednesday) but helps to break up the long 16.5 drive on Tuesday into two 10-hour drives instead.

Trans-Labrador

Day Start Finish Notes Distance (miles) Driving Time (hours)
Thursday* Suffern, NY Drummondville, QC   400 6
Friday Drummondville Baie-Comeau Quebec City sight-seeing 350 7.5

- The Trans-Labrador trip offers a number of alternative itineraries, particularly in the middle of the trip. The 4 days in the middle could be substituted with 3 longer days and a break day (or a return on Tuesday instead of Wednesday)
