Potential Trips

Again?

Hudson Bay or Bust just might have a sequel. Besides a reprise of the James Bay Road, some of the possibilities are presented on links on this page. Some routes are better in the warmer months, while others are only possible in winter because of the use of winter ice roads. Some trips mark a return to James Bay or Hudson Bay, while others lead to different but still northern remote destinations, such as Labrador. Other trips are neither that remote nor nearly as northerly, yet offer their own unique and attractive options. Routes vary in return-trip length from 5 days (an extended weekend) to 10 days (a week-long trip). In comparison, JBR is estimated at 6 days (Thursday to Tuesday).
